Breast Oncology Nurse Navigator

The moment of learning you have been diagnosed with breast cancer is life-changing. The worries, fears and devastation that can arise may feel debilitating. It can be challenging to know where to turn next, how to keep moving through life as you figure out next steps and go through treatment.

Questions you may have after diagnosis:

What now? Where do I turn? Where do I get reliable information? Who do I trust? How did this happen?

I am here to support, educate, and connect you to resources.

I do not give medical advice — that is your team of oncologists’ role — but I can help you understand your diagnosis, the treatment options that your medical team has recommended, your pathology and imaging reports, and help you understand what to expect as you go through treatment.

I support an integrative approach to health and well-being that focuses on our whole selves — our physical, emotional and mental health including finding our joys and purpose. That may feel extra-challenging when faced with breast cancer, or being screened for breast cancer, or the fear of recurrence — but anything you do to nourish your well-being during this time is vital.

“You have the perfect personality for this work.”

“I don’t know how I would have done this without you.”

“Thank you so much for your kindness, compassion and support. I am truly grateful to you.”
